Water, water

We in the Northwestern hemisphere do not really know what it is like to have to walk for miles to get clean, safe drinking water. What a pleasure it was so help those who do have to bring this water closer to home.  It only takes $650 US to give a neighborhood a covered well and easy to maintain pump. Awesome!

New Beginnings

Wow so much has passed since I wrote that last blog. So hard to put everything together.  My travels have taken me to Costa Rica, Colombia and the Brazilian Amazon, and now.....Zambia. I fell in love with Zambia.  Even though the landscape was dry and brown right now, I could imagine what the rains will be bringing. And, those who water have the most lucious, beautiful plants and flowers. The most beautiful of all.......the people....the children. They are so precious.

    So enjoyed meeting the children at the Kutuba school. When you are greeted by singing children, singing their greetings to you, it just melts your heart. I hope to get the chance to return.
